| the band that came out of them, the stone gods, are ace but whats everyone think of the darkness?
despite all the bullshit they have some good songs and were just overplayed so people started to hate them. but saying that i did relisten to some of thier songs a bit back and theyre not as fantastic as i remember.
so love/hate discuss |

| Haha i think i was in like year 7/8 at school when The Darkness released i believe in a thing called love, i thought they were cool. Justin Hawkins brought back cat suits, which i think cobrakiss should wear at the next gig. heehee.
Stone Gods ive not even bothered listening to them, because it was Justin Hawkins and his voice that made me like the darkness in the first place so i thought stone gods would be some rubbish version just without him. |

| their new singer is way better than justin, if you listen bck you find out how much justins voice actually wrecked the songs imo. |

dnt like the way they tell people theyre bringin back rock n roll ..

| The Darkness....made lyrcra cool, anyone agree with me that cobrakiss should wear it one gig...then they'll be REALLY glam. We all know James would do it for sure |

how did they stop being a joke band? if anything they became more of one, after their debut album the singles they released were "dont let the bells end", "one way ticket to hell and back" adn "is it just me or am i on my own again". all blatant joke songs where the debut is more subtle

we actually consdiered doing summat like that, like every month putting loads of make up and being like new york dolls or twisted sister, think it was only tom who didnt want to. anyway, you buy the cat suit and i'll wear it |
